Technological Collapse Theory and Networking
Embracing Technological Collapse, one word at a time!
Technology is handiwork, and Civilization can be understood as a World-Ending Alien Hand Syndrome. Just as all technologies have a purpose, all those who use technology have a purpose. But the purposes not only of the myriad technologies, but also the people who use them, are no longer obvious as they were in our deep history. Thus, given billions of people, all of whom exist thanks to technology (which reduces behavioral selection), the purposes of even our neighbors are completely mysterious. It is the mystery in everyone’s behavior that renders revolution against technology impossible.
