Resources on vitalist philosopher Ludwig Klages.
Searching for: Translator(s)
Despite a few years in university studying philosophy, we did not elect to study any philosophical language, notwithstanding German, Klages’ native tongue and what all of his works are originally written in. While we are thankful for the works that have already been translated into English (which do make up the majority of his corpus), we are still missing out on the cosmic insights of Klages’ magnum opus, The Spirit as Adversary of the Soul, a massive, 1,400-some page tome.
An AI translation of the work exists, but for obvious ideological reasons, we are avoiding that for the time being in the hopes of finding a human willing to do the task.
This would be an entirely voluntary effort on your part(s). That is, at least until we can garner enough interest in the project to raise funds, we win the lottery, or some other windfall bestows us with lots of money. Actually, we’d be willing to sacrifice a paltry amount of our limited savings for the completion of this venture. We are quite aware, however, that the meager sum we could reasonably afford now would not cover the costs of formal translation services. Therefore, there is a partial promise of payment, but it is not enough for anyone to treat this project as a paying job.
